O truque inteligente de teste CCSVI que ninguém é Discutindo

This should lead to a cascade of biological effects, the final stage of which is inflammation and demyelination, as in multiple sclerosis.

Blood tests: They can’t diagnose MS, but the doctor will use them to look for substances in your blood that point to it. Most importantly, they can help your doctor rule out conditions that look like MS.

2011] described a run-in period during which intra- and inter-observer reliability was determined to be satisfactory in three out of five neurosonology criteria and poor in the remaining two.

CCSVI is a term used to describe the narrowing of veins in the neck, which has been suggested to affect blood flow out of the central nervous system.

The team studied the prevalence of CCSVI in 200 people including those with MS and controls without MS, using catheter venography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance venography.

But it seems the argument is that, when these studies don't come up with a cem% correlation, they must be wrong. Before, the criticism of these studies was that the doctors did not know what they were doing, or that they were deliberately finding negative results. Now, since these don't apply to the BNAC doctors, the criticism is that the whole method is flawed.

They keep doing studies to prove something with inferior methods! So many studies have been done with dopplers and MRV where they "miss" some anomalies.

We have found the Muller guided catheter system (USCI) to be useful in this procedure and are now using it exclusively. Before this system was available to us, preformed catheters were used with some success. The major disadvantage of preformed catheters is the inability to negotiate the frequently encountered valves or anastomotic vessels.

Proffesor Zamboni examined the veins of MS patients located in the neck and found that more than 80% of patients with relapsing-remitting (RR) type of MS, and over 90% of patients with secondary-progressive (SP) or primary-progressive (PP) type met the criteria for CCSVI diagnosis. A majority of the patients that were examined exhibited the signs of valve malformation, stenosis or venous reflux presence in their neck veins.

A link between CCSVI and MS was first suggested in 2009, but this has since been challenged. Trials of treatments for CCSVI found that it did not reduce MS symptoms or damage on MRI but might worsen relapses and activity on MRI scans.
